ESSENTIAL A good general education A specialist dyslexia qualification

DESIRABLE Evidence of qualifications in the field of S.E.N.; G.C.S.E. or equivalent at B grade or above in Maths and English; Education to A Level or equivalent and beyond; Qualifications in ICT.

Evidence of having worked with children with literacy difficulties planning and delivering intervention in individual or small group settings An understanding of dyslexia An interest in ICT; and other learning difficulties An awareness of Every Child A positive interest in working Matters; with children, especially teenagers; Ability to get the best out of children; A sense of humour; Compassion; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to build good working relationships with a range of colleagues; A clear communicator; Ability to work calmly, with patience and perseverance.
