Meeting participants tentatively settled on Alternative C - which would combine the Ohio 13 and Ohio 545 interchanges in a new location, using a “diamond” pattern of ramps. The Fifth Avenue interchange would remain open.

This alternative would involve a north-south connecter road from the new interchange to Longview Avenue, and a new east-west connector. Two bridges currently exist on U.S. 30 in that area, but a third would be built.
