Invited talk delivered at the 2007 Fall Meeting of the Ohio Section of the MAA. We explore ways in which complex numbers can be used to quickly derive elegant geometrical results. In the end we start from a Putnam problem and establish a meaningful connection with Discrete Fourier Transforms.
