Parts Feeder Cover Brush Replacement

The Parts Feeder Cover Brush performs only one essential function on any of the CAMS machines, and that is to remove from the plate any stones that may be sitting in the feeder holes upside down. Over time this brush will become worn and no longer have any affect in removing these stones from being picked up from the Swing Gun.

Replacing the Parts Feeder Cover Brush 1V6P: Tools Needed 1) 2.5 mm Allen Wrench Simply remove the 2.5 mm Allen screw that secures the brush onto the Parts feeder cover and insert the new brush and secure the Allen Screw. Sometimes new brushes are cut too long and drag the plate too much and causes stones to be pulled out of the holes, if this is the case, remove the brush from the cover plate and trim the brush ending with a sharp pair of scissors.

Parts Feeder Cover Brush Replacement
Replacing the Parts feeder cover brush 1V2P: Tools Needed 1) Razor blade 2) Silicone glue To replace the brush on a 1V2P machine, the brush is held in place by silicone glue so carefully cut the glue off the cover plate to remove the old brush. Once it is removed you will see that the cover plate has a space carved into it to hold the brush. After removing the old brush and as much old silicone glue from this crevice, Place a bead of new silicone glue into the crevice and set the new brush in place for a few minutes till the silicone starts to dry. Once it is secured to the cover brush, place a 1/8” bead around the brush and cover to enhance the hold of the brush. **Allow the silicone glue to set over night before mounting the cover back onto the hopper**
