SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the Yellowstone Commu-

5 nity Education Fairness Act. 6 7 8 9

SEC. 2. RATIFICATION OF PAYMENTS TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS SERVING YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK.

All payments made to school districts under the first

10 section of the Act of June 4, 1948 (62 Stat. 338, chapter

2 1 417; 16 U.S.C. 40a), during the period beginning in fiscal 2 year 1976 and ending on the date of enactment of this 3 Act are ratified and approved, notwithstanding the pay4 ments made under chapter 69 of title 31, United States 5 Code, to the units of general local government.
