We fade into a lush and beautiful rural idyll. There is a car faintly visible in the distance driving upon a winding road through the landscape; we begin to focus in on it. We slowly pan with it as it turns into to a country lane. The camera follows the red modern Mini Cooper. Both its front windows are open; Jay is driving and Cal is the passenger. We hear the distant sound of urban music from the car stereo, becoming clearer as our focus brings us closer to the car.

JAY:
Put a tape in, There\u2019s some
great tunes in these tapes.

JAY:
That one, it\u2019s the tape
made, remember?

JAY:
Oh this is a tune!! Turn it
up!

[A variety of shots from mid to close ups, from front angles to side and angles. The driver JAY reaches over and turns up the music. He gets into it. Passenger CAL is uninterested. They have to raise their voices over the music in the dialogue that follows.]

CAL:
Can\u2019t we just enjoy the
sounds of the countryside?

CAL:
It\u2019s ages since we\u2019ve done
anything like this!

JAY:
It\u2019s gonna be dead at this
guest house, gotta get my
fix now.

CAL:
It\u2019s not going be dead \u2013
it\u2019ll be you and me.

JAY:
Yeah... Yeah, you know what
I mean!
