 After downloading pictures onto your computer:
 Step 1: Starting Photo Story 3 for Windows
1.
 
Access
Photo Story 3 for Windows
from your Start Menu orfrom your Desktop2.
 
Click on the
Begin a new story
 3.
 
Click
Next
 
 Step 2: Import and arrange your pictures
1.
 
Click
Import Pictures
. Browse to the folder containing your pictures. Holddown the shift key and click on
each picture
you want to include in theslide show.
When you’re done, click
Open
.

Rearrange the order of your pictures, if needed, by clicking and draggingon the timeline. Click
Next
 
when you’re
done.
 Step 3: Adding text to your slides
1.
 
Select the picture you want to add text to2.
 
Type your text3.
 
If you want to change the appearance or location of the title, do thefollowing:a.
 
To change the font, click the
Select Font
button, and then selectthe font type, style, size, effects, color, and script you want to use.b.
 
To change the justification of the text, click the
Align Left
,
Center Horizontally
, or
Align Right
button.c.
 
To move the title up or down on the page, click the
Align Top
,
Center Vertically
, or
Align Bottom
button.
 
  Step 4: Narrating your Pictures

Select the picture you want to narrate2.
 
Click the circular
Record Narration

Begin speaking4.
 
Click the square
Stop Recording

 Step 5: Saving your project

- Save your project often! The file will be saved as a Photo Story (wp3)file, which can always be edited. However, your Photo Story is notcomplete until Step 7.

 Step 6: Add Background Music

Select the slide that you want the music to start on2.

Select Music…

Browse to the folder containing your music and click open4.

Adjust the volume using the sliding bar
 Step 7: Build your story

This is the final movie file, which CANNOT be edited. Once your story isbuilt, it will be saved in your My Videos folder. The movie will play in Windows Media Player.

At the top, you will see

Choose the first option:
Save your story for playback on the computer

Name your story and click
Save

This will bring you back to the Save your Story screen.6.

Next 
. Your Photo Story will generate and you will then be promptedto view your story.
 Step 8: Viewing your story
When your story is saved and built, the
Completing Photo Story 3 for Windows
 page will appear. You can view your newly created story or begin a new storyfrom here. To see what you have created, click
View your story
. WindowsMedia Player will open and your story will begin to play.
