This week in Math 6, 1 we are learning about rates specifically the use of calories and fat.

. First, we calculate how many calories of your lunch come from fat. For our last assignment, 2 we calculate calories by adding the total calories and the calories from fat and then we make those two numbers a fraction. Next, 3 you would divide those two numbers and get a decimal then you would make the decimal a percent. Then, 4 the result for that problem is 251% and I got it by adding my total calories, 5 which was 480, 6 and calories from fat were 191. I made it a fraction (191/480) then I took the two numbers and divided (480 191). I ended up getting a decimal (2.51) but I needed a percent so I moved the decimal two spots (251%). I learned a lot from this task not only on how to do it but also on how to watch the food that goes down my stomach. It was a bit difficult at first, 7 but I got my desired results because now I know how to do it without looking at steps. I have no more questions that have to be answered. In conclusion, 8 when I need to calculate how many calories I have to burn or eat, 9 thanks to Math 6 I can calculate the use of calories and fat.
