Ever since my book, The Irritable Male Syndrome, was published in 2004 I’ve been receiving letters from women saying, “You’ve pegged my man exactly. He’s learning what’s going on with him, but what can I do? How can I handle his anger, rejection, and coldness? Please write something for me. Well, that book is on the way. It’s called Mr. Mean: Saving Yourself and Rescuing Your Relationship from the Irritable Male Syndrome.

There are 31 short chapters, with specific information for women and the men who have the courage to look at their behavior in a new way. The book will be published next year, but I wanted you to have the information NOW. That’s why I’m posting chapters on Scribd for FREE.

Other chapters on Scribd:

Chapter 1: My Man Has Changed from Mr. Nice to Mr. Mean: What is Going on?

Chapter 2: 5 Little Known Secrets for Saving Yourself From an Abusive Relationship

If you support my efforts, please help me spread the word. You can do that my “starring,” commenting, and letting others know about it.

I look forward to your feedback.

Dear Dr. Diamond,My fiancé recently broke off our engagement, of just short of ayear, because she said I had changed. She stated that no matter what she said I would "bite her head off", that I was no longer

showing her affection, that she felt she had to "walk on eggshells" around me, and that I became very distant and unemotional. A random stranger overheard me talking to one of my friendsabout my situation and mentioned Irritable Male Syndrome, so I went to the bookstore and decided to purchase the book. I had never heard of IMS, but now a lot of what’s been going on with me makessense. I feel real hope now that I can repair the damage to our relationship. Thank you. Josh.

knew
there was something ‘hormonal’ about his behavior,” manywomen told me in talking about their mates. Now, a lot of hisbehavior makes sense.”Another thing that became evident was how similar mid-life malechanges were to the changes that young men go through between 15
