Working Title: Inspiration
Inspiration, what it is to me and how I can show what inspires me to the public.
Area of Interaction:
Human Ingenuity.Why and how do we create?What are the consequences?I think that Human Ingenuity is the closest Area of Interaction that fits my topic of interest for masterworks. Human Ingenuity "allows students to explore the processes and products of humancreativity and to also consider their impact on society and mind." I thought human Ingenuitywould fit for a very personal self exploration. I want to learn more about myself through findingand eventually showing what inspires me. Human Ingenuity represents allowance for one toappreciate and form a new look at themselves and their human capacity to create. I plan to createa dance piece to show the final product of my personal inspirations.

Why Do I Care?
Personal Interest - why is this topic of interest to you?
As you all know the transition between middle school and high school is a time for one to findout more about themselves. I think that this project will most definitely help me to find out moreabout myself through asking what inspires me. I really want to share what I am passionate aboutto the community and to show a part of myself through a dance performance. I love to beinspired as probably most people do, and I think it is very important to explore who you reallyare at a young age.
Possible Focus or Thesis
What inspires me?How can I show what inspires me?What is Inspiration to me?I want to look at my life experiences and to explore what I like and inspires me. I will use myinspirations, as a main thing to fuel my project. I want to look at ALL components of whatinspires me. Examples that I have found that motivate me are found in media, places I have been,things I have seen and heard and writings(stories, poems and quotes). Throughout this project Ihope to find even more components of what inspires me.
Project Format
What form will your final product take?
I think my final product will take form in multiple forms. It will first be in form of a paper,covering all my personal writing and research throughout my masterworks project, a powerpointor Prezi presentation to summerize my exploration for the audience, some examples of thecomponents of what inspires me(quotes, videos and real life experiences) and finally the end
 
 product being a dance performance showing what exactly it means to me to be inspired. I amtruly passionate about dance.
Rough Outline
- Part One
What is inspiration? hopefully following/leading into what it is to me. keep breaking it down,leading to my inspirations. inspiration= motivation.....One component of my Inspiration comesfrom someone who is better than you and does what you love and want to be like, well notnecessarily be like but be able to do what they do, this would be about a dancer I look uptoo..probably. Not sure if I want to include an actual person. Want it to be more personal.- Definitely don't want this to be like a dictionary definition that's been expanded on.
- Part Two
Showing how others ideas are very different or similar about what inspiration is. and whatinspires them. This might involve some of the survey's and interviews perhaps? Maybe mentionsome otherfamous person. someone who inspires me. This part is a bit iffy?
- Part Three
Examples of what inspires me, media? QUOTES to begin each part of my presentation and paper that speaks to me. What I love about certain things
 be more specific? (referring to "things")
and its affectin my actions. Thinking: is this is a way different than being inspired?Second part of the media, gaining more understanding of thee audience: I'm thinking somethingthat would put the audience in my shoes of inspiration and my idea of what it is. ( the wholeaudience is quite, maybe even closes their eyes?) I would maybe say something along the linesof..."Imagine something that is very peaceful and makes you motivated to do something.ANYTHING! Explain a certain motivational circumstance, to me! not anyone else. This projectis very personal, don't want to bring a lot of other people into it, just look to others for research purposes. But might quote some if it really stands out to me as super important and a maincomponent of my project.
