Description

Synopsis: Jesse Aarons was ready for the first day of school. He has been training for it all summer. Every day, during recess, the boys had races to see who was the fastest. He was always second until this year. This year was going to be different until Leslie Burke joins the races and wins. This was Jesse’s first time meeting Leslie and he hated her.

Time changes everything and Jesse and Leslie become very close. So close, they use Leslie’s imagination to create Terabithia. Terabithia is an imaginary kingdom deep in the woods where no one can see them.

Jesse never thought he could have or deserve such a friend. He never truly appreciated that friendship until tragedy strikes and the friendship ends suddenly. Only then can Jesse appreciate the strength and courage Leslie has given him.
