Problem Definition
 The aim of this project is to design security system for the private societies
and restricted area by identifying the vehicle entry in the campus. For
permitting entry of vehicle, vehicle code and driver code will be entered from
vehicle cabin. The controller will process the data sent by vehicle cabin and
will give the necessary signal to barricade.

 Advantages of radio communication:
Radio communication are used over cable based communication
network for several reasons

• Line of Site :- No objects should be Fresnel zone.

• Cost Effectiveness:- Less costlier than cabled link due to lower
requirement of infrastructure
• Quick Set-up:- Just build a tower with antenna and you are done.
• Reallocation:- Reallocation is extremely fast, as the equipment
only has to be moved to another location and set up along with its
antenna.
• Accessibility:- Can provide communication in practically
inaccessible terrains.
 Why we are using RF module
We can use the bar code system and RFID tags also but due to
some of their disadvantages it is advisable to use RF modules
Disadvantages:
1) The bar code is fixed at the time of printing and it cannot be
changed
2) For bar code to be read by the scanner there should be a
clear optical line of sight.
3) It is very easy to deface the bar code and even duplicates
can be printed with a simple scanner and printer
4) RFID tags cannot be reprogrammed
5) RFID tags have a lower range of operation
