Intention in water: the effect of our thoughts, words and actions inwater, our bodies and our lives
October 16, 2009By Julie Roberts
“
Water is the driving force of all nature.
”

Leonardo Da VinciEinstein taught us that everything is made up of energy. Every object tangible or intangible has avibration or resonance to it, including our thoughts, words, emotions and actions. Dr. Masaru Emotofrom Japan believed this as well and conducted ascientific study on the effect of human intentions inwater. In this study, Dr. Emoto exposed water tomusic, spoken words, written words, pictures and video while freezing the water into crystallizedform. The results were profound. He discovered that positive intention sent into water producedbeautiful frozen water crystals whereas negative thoughts, words and intentions sent into waterproduced a sickly effect. If our thoughts and intentions affect water in such a way and our bodiesare composed of up to 80% water, how do our own thoughts, words and actions affect our bodies, our health and wellbeing? Think about it. Medical science has proven time and time again thenegative effects of stress on our health and wellbeing. We have all had the experience of being in the dressing room of a department store trying onclothing that does not fit quite right. Instantly thoughts of judgment run through our head of
mybutt
’s too big”
or
“I’m too fat” or “too skinny”
, etc. Think of the impact of these negative thoughts onyour body being reflected back upon you a second time while looking at your image in the mirror.Next time you catch yourself thinking or saying something negative to your reflection in the mirroror otherwise, reverse it by countering it with a loving statement. Individuals with self esteem

issues may wish to exercise sending loving thoughts andspeaking positive affirmations to themselves and everypart of their body while looking into a mirror as a way tocounter the years of emotional abuse they may havecaused themselves. If you have trouble believing the effects of our intentionsin water or other objects, here is a simple experiment that can be done to show the effects of negative versus positive emotions and intentions. This is anexcellent process for educating ourselves and our children about the destructiveness of negativeattitudes & emotions on objects, our surroundings, our bodies and our lives. For this experiment, you will need the following items:

3 empty jars with lids

Boiled rice

Tap water

Paper

Pen or pencil

TapeFill each of the 3 jars with about a cup of boiled rice. Fill each of the jars 2/3 full with ordinary tapwater (I have also seen this experiment done without adding tap water resulting in similar effects). Then label each of the jars. Label Jar #1 with the word
‘Love’. Label Jar #2 with the word ‘Hate’.
Leave Jar #3 blank as a control specimen. Place each of the 3 jars in a space where they can be forat least 30 days unopened, about 2 feet apart from each other. Each day for the next month (or more, dependingon how far you wish to go with this experiment)spend a few minutes sending energy into each of thejars. For Jar #1 marked
‘Love’
you will spend a fewminutes each day speaking loving and kind words toit, as if your intention is to make the rice inside thejar feel loved & appreciated. Pick it up, hold it,
