Determination of Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards shall be by scoring on Official Ballotssubmitted by the Judges to the Organizing Committee.
Trophies for 1st through 3rd places,ribbons through 5th, for OVERALL SCORE.
JUDGE’S CHOICE
Ribbons to highest scoring non-trophy-winningentries in each of the following special categories: Appearance
Aroma
Taste
Smoothness
Potency In the event of a tie in the special categories,tie is to be broken by highest overall score. WHO MAY ENTER CANNABIS TO BE JUDGED (Entrants)
 All Entrants must be patients, caregivers, orpersons responsible for a marijuana grow site, as defined in ORS 475.300

HOW TO ENTER 
Entrants must sign a Participant’s Contract
(see packet) and agree to abide by the EventRules. A

photocopy of Entrant’s Oregon
State Identification Card or State DriversLicense
and
 
entrant’s OMMP Patient
orCaregiver Registry Identification Card must
accompany Entrant’s application.
 
 
In lieu of a photocopy of the
Entrant’s OMMP Registry ID Card, a
photocopy of the acknowledgementletter from the OMMP offices, onOMMP letterhead, shall suffice andserve as proof of Oregon MedicalMarijuana Act coverage,

ENTRY SAMPLE SUBMISSIONS
Organizing Committee will notify Entrants when accepted, and arrangements will then be made for Entrant to submit samples for judging.

The Committee shall furnish to the Entrant
standardized packaging marked “formedical use only”.
 Entrant shall place into each package noless than one (1) gram of personally growncannabis.For each strain entered, Entrant shall fill 28standardized packages, for a total of 28grams, or one ounce.Entrant shall make no marks of any type onthe packages supplied.
 Arrangements for transferring Entrant’s
submission(s) to the Committee will bemade individually, with scheduling andtransfers beginning on September 1, 200

Following receipt of Entrant’s submission,
the Committee will check no fewer than 4packages per strain submitted for required weight.
 
 A tolerance of no more than 1 gramper strain will be allowed.
 
In the event that
an Entrant’s
submission is underweight, thatsubmission will be disqualified.
 
Each strain submitted shall receive aunique identification number, which

The Chairperson shall record theunique identification number foreach strain submitted, and shallinsure complete confidentiality of theroster containing all identificationnumbers.
 WHO MAY JUDGE MEDICAL CANNABIS STRAINS (Judges)
 All Judges must be patients currently registered with the Oregon MedicalMarijuana Program (OMMP).
The maximum number of Judge’s positions
to be filled for this event shall be 28.Judging positions shall be filled by order of receipt of completed application packages.Organizing Committee members may 
not
 participate in the OMCA as Judges.
 A patient may be an Entrant and aJudge
; however, that person’s ballots for
their own strains will not be counted in theoverall results and that person will notknow which strains are their own. All Judges shall be 18 years of age or older.
Judges must sign a Participant’s Contract,

nonrefundable Registration Fee of $100.00
