Terms and Conditions
In the event of cancellation or interruption of the event beyond our control such as fire, government regulations,act of nature, or any other cause that prevents Oregon NORML from conducting the show, the contract willterminate and the participant will waive any claim for damages.Oregon NORML, its agents, volunteers, landlord, venue, and its agents and employees will not be responsible forany injury, theft, loss, or damage that may occur. Upon signing the contract, participants expressly release andhold harmless the above mentioned parties from any and all claims.
Legal Release
I, the undersigned, am participating in 2009 Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards™ event as a seminar participant, with full knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to cannabis. I am participating in this event of my ownfree will. I have been afforded the opportunity to speak with an attorney of my choice regarding my participationin this event. Participant understands and agrees that Oregon NORML and this seminar do not advocate anyone violate any local, state, and /or federal law.I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards™ 2009 OrganizingCommittee, its officers, agents, and their heirs and assigns, and the Oregon affiliate of NORML (NationalOrganization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) [“Oregon NORML”], its officers, agents, and their heirs andassigns, from any and all claims, civil or criminal, arising from my participation.I know that the criminal laws concerning cannabis include but are not limited to fines and jail and/or prison time. Any display, transfer, or sales of illegal substances will be grounds for immediate termination of the participant’sright to remain in the venue. If terminated, no refunds will be granted. Any violation of federal, state or local laws is grounds for immediate termination at the event.Participant must indemnify Oregon NORML its agents, volunteers, and employees for its actions that result ininjury, loss or damage.Oregon NORML, its agents, volunteers, and the landlord, venue, and its agents and employees are not responsiblefor any injury, theft, loss, or damage that may occur.
