Description

The formation of Malaysia on 16 September, 1963 was based on the agreement that Sabah and Sarawak were incorporated into the Federation as equal partners. This fact was duly executed into an agreement known as the Twenty Points Agreement that was agreed upon by Inter Governmental Committee preceding the incorporation of the Federation.
