EVs significance for China


The external dependency of Chinas crude oil is close to 60% in 2013 EVs account for about 40% of Chinas oil consumption Transportation industry contributes 28% of carbon dioxide emissions in world-wide 25 Chinas cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai etc., have launched demonstration projects of one-thousand Evs The Strong & Smart Grid can promote the development of renewable energy and EVs, promote large-scale substitution of oil and improve energy security

Implementation Project with Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company (SMEPC)


16 charging/swapping stations and 1460 AC charging spots in Jiading district, Shanghai are under construction A pair of charging/swapping stations at service areas of the Shanghai-Hangzhou highway for city-interconnection in Yangtze River Delta Area An EV service company of SMEPC is in operation A management system for EV operations and a surveillance center for customer service, operation monitoring, asset management, and accounting management, etc. 50 charging/swapping stations and 5000 charging spots for planning 30-50 thousand EVs are expected
