Bajaj Finserv Limited holds 74% and theremaining 26% is held by Allianz, SE.As on 31st March 2009, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance maintained its premier positionin the industry by achieving growth as well as profitability. The company garnered a premium income of Rs. 2866 crore, achieving a growth of 11 % over the last year. BajajAllianz has made a profit before tax of Rs. 149.8 crore and has become the only privateinsurer to cross the Rs.100 crore mark in profit before tax in the last three years. The profit after tax was Rs.95 crores, which is also the highest by any private insurer.
