FOR 6V6 PARTICIPANTS

PLEASE NOTE: You are NOT allowed to use a thumbdrive or external media to transfer any files to the computers. You MUST submit the P-REC demos after a match (see: Submitting P-REC Demos) Remember to clear/delete all customization files (cfg and personal content in custom folder) after the match. Do not delete the prec folder in custom. You have 15 minutes to apply all customizations and thoroughly test the game. If there are no issues reported, it is taken that all is in place and the match will begin promptly.

CUSTOMI ZATION
If you are unsure of the instructions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to approach a staff member immediately. Before doing anything with the computer, start up TF2 with the launch option autoconfig to prevent any conflicts with previously applied customizations. Next, close TF2 and remove the -autoconfig launch option. You must do this even if you do not have any customizations. To access your customizations (cfg, HUDs), locate the folder named CONFIGS AND CUSTOMIZATION on your desktop, and navigate from your team folder to your individual folder. e.g. Desktop > CONFIGS AND CUSTOMIZATION > For Freak's Sake > Toshihiko > cfg Copy and paste your cfg and custom folders into SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf. Please spend the rest of the 15 minutes allocated to thoroughly test your customization to avoid any undetected problems that may arise e.g. conflicting cfgs.

DX LEVEL
Do NOT use the -dxlevel launch option to switch between DX8 and DX9. Instead, open up the console using the ~ key, and type in: For DX8: mat_dxlevel 80 For DX9: mat_dxlevel 90 You may restart the game if the Mumble overlay is disrupted.

SUBMITTING P-REC DEMOS

P-REC has been installed on all participating computers. After a match, a .dem file will be located under SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf. You are required to transfer all demos of matches you have played into the appropriate folder located at Desktop\P-REC DEMO SUBMISSION\teamname\alias after each match on the computer you played with. Be sure to check if its the right demo by taking note of the time and map as noted on the demo file. e.g. Desktop > P-REC DEMO SUBMISSION > LAN Duo > blurr > 20140322_1300_cp_badlands_lduo_ffs.dem

FOR MGE PARTICIPANTS

PLEASE NOTE: You are NOT allowed to use ANY custom files (e.g. cfgs, HUDs) whatsoever. You are, however, allowed to change in-game settings like sensitivity and acceleration You are also allowed to use your own equipment (e.g. mouse, keyboard) The game will be on DX9 by default. Use the mat_dxlevel 80 console command to switch to DX8, and mat_dxlevel 90 for DX9. The HUD is Bobs BlackHUD The CFG is Chris highframes If you require assistance or have any questions, do not hesitate to approach a staff member
