Administrative $irector of St( %lares Behavioral 6ealth %enter( Morris %ounty is losing a leader &ho has &or'ed in this field for the last 0 years( She has made many remar'able contributions to the Morris %ounty community in areas such as behavioral health! addiction! treatment! rehabilitation and family support programs( +he Board than'ed her for all the &or' she has done to support the residents of Morris %ounty( Ms( 2ronet especially than'ed Mary Jo Buchanan and #aurie Bec'er for their supportive coordination(
ADMINISTRATOR3S REORT
Because of the Monday 3residents $ay holiday! the 4nsurance Fund %ommission &ill meet ne/t +uesday! February 17 at 8 p(m( +he 4mprovement Authority &ill meet on that date as &ell! at 9 p(m( Regarding the regional salt shortage! Mr( Bonanni is &or'ing &ith Ms( #eary on a daily basis &ith the intent to use the salt as diligently as possible and in areas that need it the most( :M is no& involved &ith this operation in managing the distribution( ;e are also &or'ing &ith the municipalities( 3otholes are getting filled in &hen the &eather permits(Assistant Administrators ReportFebruary 1< at  p(m( is the Facilities Revie& %ommittee meeting(

6is department has revie&ed forty=si/ resolutions for this evenings meeting( +here are t&o ordinances for second reading>adoption,

6e reported that %hester +o&nship and Roc'a&ay Borough began using the %ounty #a& :nforcement Records Management System( 3icatinny Arsenal Fire $epartment contacted #3S to discuss possible dispatch opportunities( :M responded &ith the mobile ambulance  bus to the follo&ing to&ns to support fire fighting operations, Madison! ;harton! Ro/bury and %hatham +o&nship( n tonights agenda is a resolution rene&ing Boonton +o&nships dispatch contract(

3o&erville Road at the intersection of Roc'a&ay alley Road in Boonton +o&nship is being lo&ered to improve safety and sight distance( +he design is complete and the bid for construction &ill go out in March( ur engineering group is also e/plosing an issue at 3o&erville Road north of this site near ;est Road &here realignment has been suggested(
+he realignment plans for Boonton Avenue north of Roc'a&ay alley Road in Montville are complete and the  bid for construction &ill go out in February(6e reported that that MCA meeting is tomorro& evening( +he Flood Mitigation February meeting had to be cancelled and &ill meet in March(

She than'ed Mr( Bonanni and staff for notifications regarding the series of sno& storms as prepared for all possibilities( She observed %ounty truc's lined up and ready to move as one of the storms approached us( +his morning she attended the graduation of the first regional SheriffDs :mergency Response +eam( +hirty=three officers completed the S:R+ training and &ere s&orn in today( She attended the January " Morris %ounty %hamber of %ommerce annual luncheon( +he 'eynote spea'er &as ;illiam %ohen! Secretary of $efense 1<<@="001 and %:! of the %ohen group( She also attended the Morristo&n 3artnership reception on Jan( "< and the M%%% and M%:#% brea'fast meeting last Friday &here )ic' Acocella! editor and publisher of 3olitifa/ &as the guest spea'er( At theses forums she is meeting business leaders from around the county( She as'ed about ho& the Freeholders can monitor &ho is attending different functions to give representation to these events( 4t &as noted that there is a computer program that the %ler' of the Boards office uses that does this function( She met &ith Ms( #eary last &ee' &ho  provided much insight and bac'ground regarding the )J+3A( )e/t &ee' she &ill attend the )J+3A committee meetings along &ith 2erry Rohsler( n Feb  she toured the %ounty Eouth Shelter and the Juvenile $etention %enter( +he staff at both facilities provided comprehensive tours and an overvie& of their programs( She than'ed Mr( 3into for coordinating both tours and loo's for&ard to her ne/t round of tours( Along &ith getting acquainted &ith %ounty services! she is also meeting &ith individuals &ho represent the not=for=profit services around the county( #ast &ee' she met &ith #ou Sch&arc! %: of the Mental 6ealth Association of Morris %ounty( 6e and his staff described the services they provide( +omorro& she &ill meet &ith John %iaffone! 3resident of +ransptions( She spo'e about a councilmans letter to the editor published in the February 7 $aily Record regarding homeless people in Morris %ounty( 6e made a very public call for action( She contacted Mr( 3into &ho offered to spea' to the councilman to discuss outreach services( +here is a very integrated net&or' of service providers and services &e supply to the homeless( Mr( 3into reported that he &ould engage our %ommunity and Behavioral 6ealth $ivision fol's &ho &or' on homelessness issues( 4n addition! &e have a ne&ly formed  planning committee Gper 6C$s requirementsH to address homelessness and the continuum of care( +he public can turn to our %ounty site to learn more at http,>>morrishumanservices(org>behavioral> continuum(aspFreeholder $eFillippo as'ed &hether there is a process set up to monitor county ne&s and to address issues that arise( 4t &as noted that Mr( 2arifo is in charge of this(
