Description

This is the story of Peter Blackstock's war, he joining The Royal Navy Patrol Service and, following his early years of minesweeping, Peter joined 'HDML 1227' only to be sunk off Greece and, taken prisoner, sent to Germany's notorious Stalag IIIA POW camp at Luckenwalde, to the south of Berlin, the camp liberated by the Russian Army and Peter returning home to Kintyre via the American lines.
