Almost in its entirety, the story has an outdated feel: structure and tempo, style, dialog, references, tone, etc. But it's entertaining, nonetheless. It also contains ideas that are related to elint or electronic warfare as well as the importance of public support and morale. In a sense, the protagonists hacked the information-gathering systems of the attacker.
