This section describes how to install e.Report Designer Professional.

How to install on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, and Windows 2000
1 Insert the CD into your drive. The CD runs and the Actuate 6 Setup dialog appears. 2 Respond to the dialogs. The wizard guides you through the installation process.

Installing Client Integration Technology


Client Integration Technology consists of:

If the report server is already installed on the machine to which you are installing Client Integration Technology, install the Client Integration Technology in a different directory from the report server.

How to install on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, and Windows 200
1 Insert the CD into your drive. 2 In the Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs. 3 Install Client Integration Technology. If you do not have Windows 2000, choose Install to start the Install wizard. If you have Windows 2000: 1 Choose Add New Programs and then choose CD or Floppy. 2 Choose \ClientIntTech\setup.exe. The wizard guides you through the installation process.
