In Genesis chapter five, we are taught the genealogy beginning with Adam to the birth Noah whom GOD had commanded to build a Ark, because GOD warned HE was going to be sending a flood to destroy every living thing that breathed air from their nostrils, because the whole earth had become corrupt and filled with violence. Of course, we will learn about the story of Noah really beginning in chapter six of Genesis.
