Are You Looking for a Circle of Friends? A Small Group May Be the Answer.
Here at Denbigh United we have several Small Groups and are eager to start more. A Small Group is a group of 6-12 people who meet weekly or every other week for Bible study/discussion, prayer, fellowship and service. Deep and abiding friendships can grow in these groups as believers
student God’s Word and support one another.
Our existing groups are listed below. If you are interested in an existing group or in being a part of a new group, please contact Deborah Dail or Tim Jacoby.
Sunday evenings (every other week) from 6:30-8 p.m. This group meets at the church and childcare is provided. The facilitator is Kristi Spivey, and the group is currently studying

Thursday afternoons from 1:00-3:00 p.m. there is a four week Small Group at the home of Jay and Mary Lee Dunn studying about
Mary, Mother of Christ
. This group will meet every Thursday from March 27-April 17. The
Adult Bible Class
is taught by Jay Dunn and Bob Young. During the spring quarter (March through May) the Adult Bible Class will be studying a variety of Old and New Testament books with an emphasis on exploring the connections between Jesus and the Hebrew Scriptures. The class meets Sunday mornings at 9:15 in the Fellowship Room. The
Ladies Discussion Group
Where Faith and Culture Meet

and the study book will engage you in Bible study discussion regarding bold ways to discover God’s

Living as a Committed Christian in the Kingdom in the 21st Century Class
Beginning March 30, we are offering a third Adult Sunday School class. This class, featuring a small group discussion/seminar format, will use relevant Scripture to consider the implications of how a Christian might deal with such issues as: healthcare, poverty, affluence, inequality, education, individualism and community, human rights, diversity, violence, the Jesus of the Gospels, Christian responsibilities, and other issues that might surface or become prominent in the news.
