 Several Start menu and taskbar feature  Classic Start menu User Interface.  WMP Mini-player (replaced with the new Jump list feature)  Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Mail & Calender.  InkBall, a game.  Windows Sidebar. (Gadgets remain, sitting freely on Desktop)  The numeric keypad from On-Screen Keyboard.  Microsoft Agent 2.0 Technology.

What about Security ?

 AppLocker : SAFER, but Safer.  Windows Solution Center.  Workgroup can now be HomeGroups.  BitLocker.

So, what specifications W7 recommends?

 Minimum Requirement for Windows 7 :  1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit Processor.  1 GB of System Memory.  16 GB of available disk space.  DirectX 9 with 128 MB memory (to enable the Aero theme).  DVD R/W Drive.  Internet Access.

Still, I have some doubts ?

 Why the name is Windows 7 ?  Is Windows 7 the Final Name ?  When will Windows 7 ship ?  Will it be available in both 32-bit & 64-bit versions ?

Dasvidania Vista ?
 Windows 7 seeks to be as fast or faster.  (So think about a Vista rollout after all ?)  Hardware that runs Vista well will run W7 as well.  Vista drivers are all Windows 7 drivers.  Includes nearly 400 fixes, built-in shims that solve compatibility problems.  Any Special patches created in Vista work in W7.
