 Lets Read The Bible: Genesis Chapter Eight In Genesis chapter eight, we learn in more depth of the Noah's stor of those that came aboard the !r" with Noah#
We learn exactly how long the waters continued to rain down from the sky and gush up and out from the wells of the earth during the time that GOD sent a great flood to destroy every living thing that lived on dry land (earth) to cleanse the whole earth of the wickedness that had once filled it. Only Noah and his wife and his three sons and his sons! wives were spared kept and preserved (saved) from GOD!" Wrath that GOD did send upon the whole earth #y the means of a great flood of waters to destroy the wickedness that had filled the earth in Noah!s day. We learn how long the waters remained on the earth once the waters from heaven (sky) and the waters from the wells (springs) were shut. We learn that exact length of time that the flooding of the earth lasted to the day. $or one year%two months and twenty%seven days (& year ' months ' days) from the day that GOD first sent the flood to the day that the earth was dried. fter the earth was dried then GOD spoke to Noah to instruct him and his wife and his sons and their wives to depart from out of the ark and to release all of the #easts and cattle and #irds and creeping things and then GOD commanded that they #e fruitful and multiply to repopulate the whole earth. "o they did as GOD had commanded (instructed) them to do.fter Noah did all that GOD had commanded (instructed) him to do then Noah a *ust and faithful man of GOD #uilt an alter and offered an offering to the +O,D GOD to thank GOD for saving his life and the life of his wife and lives his sons and their wives and for all that GOD had done and provided for them all when GOD had sent a flood of waters to destroy every living thing that lived on dry land (earth) and was not #eing saved a#oard the rk.+astly GOD gives us reassurance that the seasons the cold and the heat planting time and harvest time and day and night would never cease for as long as the earth exist. nd until this very day we live in today %%% GOD has kept -is promise that these things would never cease. GOD keeps -is Word and - has done so even to this day without fail. We can trust in GOD in everything.

from heaven was restrained13 nd the waters returned from off the earth continually0 and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were a#ated.4 nd the ark rested in the seventh month on the seventeenth day of the month upon the mountains of rarat.5 nd the waters decreased continually until the tenth month0 in the tenth month on the first day of the month were the tops of the mountains seen.6 nd it came to pass at the end of forty days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made0 nd he sent forth a raven which went forth to and fro until the waters were dried up from off the earth.7 lso he sent forth a dove from him to see if the waters were a#ated from off the face of the ground18 9ut the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot and she returned unto him into the ark for the waters were on the face of the whole earth0 then he put forth his hand and took her and pulled her in unto him into the ark.&: nd he stayed yet other seven days1 and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark1&& nd the dove came in to him in the evening1 and lo in her mouth was an olive leaf  pluckt off0 so Noah knew that the waters were a#ated from off the earth.&' nd he stayed yet other seven days1 and sent forth the dove1 which returned not again unto him any more.&3 nd it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year in the first month the first day of the month the waters were dried up from off the earth0 and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked and #ehold the face of the ground was dry.&4 nd in the second month on the seven and twentieth day of the month was the earth dried.&5 nd God spake unto Noah saying&6 Go forth of the ark thou and thy wife and thy sons and thy sons! wives with thee.& 9ring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee of all flesh #oth of fowl and of cattle and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth1 that they may #reed a#undantly in the earth and #e fruitful and multiply upon the earth.
