Description

The new paradigm of entrepreneurial leadership came to the attention of scholars about fifteen years ago (Lippitt, 1987). Various conceptual papers and empirical studies only appeared six years ago (e.g., Fernald & Solomon, 1996). Although much has been accomplished, more is needed. Researchers are just at the beginning of creating different methods of measuring entrepreneurial leadership. They have yet to explore perceptions of what entrepreneurial leaders think they ought to be doing.
