BLICKENSTAFF: Good afternoon, Your Honor. DaleBlickenstaff for Mr. Rodriguez who's present in court withcounsel. He's in custody.MS. ESCOBAR: Good afternoon, Your Honor. KarenEscobar for the United States.THE COURT: Good afternoon, Mr. Blickenstaff. Goodafternoon Ms. Escobar. And good afternoon to you, Mr.Rodriguez.This matter was set over from March 20th for adetention hearing and I believe it was to allow Ms. Serrano tolook into the three arrest warrants that were issued in 2012that Ms. Escobar indicated had been issued and were apparentlyfailure to appear warrants.I don't -- I've spoken with Ms. Serrano and I don'tbelieve she was able to confirm that one way or the other andindicated that she didn't have time to do it before court todaybecause she was out of the office.

2I did, however, have an opportunity to review thegovernment's memorandum in support of detention. And havecounsel had an opportunity to review the supplemental bailmemorandum?MR. BLICKENSTAFF: Your Honor, I did get thememorandum itself this morning. I was out yesterday, but I didsee the memorandum this morning, and today Ms. Escobar gave methe attachments, what is it, 5 through 10, I think.THE COURT: Yes. It's 5 through -- yes, it is 10.MR. BLICKENSTAFF: Your Honor, I also did some workon this before I left on Friday, and I have some possible lightto shed on those three warrants as well, if the Court wouldlike to hear.THE COURT: I would. Based on the information I havein the government's memorandum in support of detention, Clovispolice officer Cleaver (phonetic) who was involved in theunderlying investigation and then arrested Mr. Rodriguez inconnection with the three outstanding warrants advised thatthey were issued for failure to appear. So if you would liketo clarify or add anything to that.MR. BLICKENSTAFF: Yes. I don't think that'scorrect. Here's the information that I've been able to discernfrom talking to my client, his significant other, who is in thecourtroom today, as well as his supervised release officer,probation officer, if you will, in the state system after he
