Our world mainly depends on fossil fuels and electrical energy for its energy requirements.Our dependency on fossil fuels is increasing alarmingly day by day.The world’s automobile industry mainly depends on fossil fuels. The day to day consumption of fossil fuels is growing in geometric progression. At this rate the global resources of fossil fuels willnot last longer.Under these circumstances, finding alternative energy resources is our top priority.In the event, we run out of our fossil fuel resources, how prepared are we to meet the challengeof filling the energy gap.How comfortable are we to switch to electrical energy for all our requirements.
Prelude
Our quest for alternative energy resources is never ending.The search is focused on the generation of low cost energy in large quantities.The search for generating abundant low cost electrical energy is crucial for our development/growth. We are producing mechanical energy from Thermal Power, Nuclear Power, Hydel Power, WindPower and Wave Power. This mechanical energy is used to run/rotate dynamos/turbines toconvert into electrical energy.A major portion of electrical energy is produced from Hydel Power, Nuclear Power and ThermalPower.Thermal Power is generated by burning coal/fossil fuels/natural gas.
 
But we are directly converting solar energy into electrical energy through photovoltaic cells. Solar energy is also used in heating.No matter, how electrical energy is generated, it carries a price tag. Every process has got itsmerits and demerits – the cost is too high, scarcity of raw materials, hazardous raw materials.
Road Farms
We are converting the movement of -air, through Wind Farms- waves, through Wave Farms- falling water, through Hydel Power projects into energy.Why not we convert the movement of people and vehicles into energy through Road Farms?A Road Farm is a Setup/Device/Arrangement that generates mechanical energy, when people or vehicles pass through it. A Road Farm is like a toll gate, when vehicles pass through it, theinternal mechanism, convert the energy derived from the passing of people/vehicles intomechanical energy.
Need for Road Farms
Time and tide wait for none.In our search, we ignored an abundant resource to generate cheap electrical energyIn this world, no matter, what happens, some things will never stop.- Time- Movement of people and materialsVehicles like cars, busses and trains move people and transport goods on land.Most of these vehicles(moving objects), generate do electrical energy internally.But can we generate the energy from the movement of these vehicles(Cars, Busses and Trains)while passing through the Road Farms. Yes we can tap this enormous energy resource.This direction will make the world self sufficient and make our environment echo friendly andreduce the dependency on fossil fuels
Ancient Road Farms
An old Indian agricultural implement, provides irrigation by a simple mechanism that lifts water from lower level to an upper elevation, by utilizing the energy from the motion of a person walkingon a high rise platform. This is called yaatam in telugu, a south Indian language.
