How to Use this Table

From Tenerife Ref Team we want to show you an alternative use we found for the Roller Derby Periodic Table. This document also includes a new version of the table, taking into account the new FTD! rules released on "arch #$%&. !s you can see, on the u''er side of the table are the 'enalties, se'arated regarding their ty'e as described on the ruleset. (n each s)uare of the table is* the +ection of the rules where the 'enalty is, the code of said 'enalty ,mainly used by -+(. and its /erbal 0ue. !dditionally, on the underside of the table are detailed the Penalties with "ulti'le 1nfractions. 2ach grou' is clearly defined and is 'art of a s'ecific 'enalty. For instance, there is Failure to Return, which corres'onds to the (ut of Play ty'e of 'enalty. (n the underside of each s)uare are detailed the sections of the rules where you can find the 'enalties. The most im'ortant as'ect of this table is the new use we are giving to it* on the u''er left side of each s)uare on the Penalties with "ulti'le 1nfractions is a code, com'osed of a letter and a number. This code is used to obtain a )uick and 'recise gathering of information on scrimmages and on those bouts where the 3ead Ref authori4es it. 5y this method we obtain far more information. For e6am'le, it7s not the same to have three (ut of Play 'enalties 8P9 than having an (ut of Play 5lock 8P:9, a Failure to Reform 8P#9 and a Destroying the Pack 8P;9. 1t could be confusing at first, but once you get it the benefits of this intel is huge for the better understanding of a bout and the statistics on a scrimmage, obtaining data that 'oints at the s'ecific flaws of each 'layer. This additional use changes the Penalty Tracker sheet at follows* (n this image can be seen how the 'enalties should be obtained. This has given us much e6tra and valuable information on our scrimmages, to both 'layers and officials. e ho'e it7ll be useful for everyone.
