CONCEPT
In the search for India’s best, Indian Institute ofManagement Indore presents Ashwamedha, anevent earmarked to anoint the person who shalllead tomorrow's India Inc. Ashwa, the flagshipevent of Ahvan (formerly called IRIS), is a uniqueplatform where you prove to be the rightfulholder of the title of “The Best Leader”. Theevent draws a parallel to the ancient Vedic ritualof the same name, performed to attain power,glory, fame and prosperity. Ashwamedha pacifiesyour quest for greatness and immortality. It is anevent where you would make friends but won’tgive an inch to anyone for there is no place forsecond best. Ashwamedha is reinvented every time. The eventconcepts would not be akin to anything you haveseen or heard from anyone. The surprise elementhas helped Ashwa achieve the status of the mostanticipated event in the B-School calendar.

 Ashwamedha is meticulously designed eachyear by a special team comprising ofstudents, professors and consultants. Everyyear, more than 1500 of the brightest mindsfrom the top B-schools of the countryparticipate in this grand event. Ashwamedhais a battle spread over 30 days culminating ina grand finale at the IIM Indore campus. Withthe philosophy of “Ekameva Jayate”, Ashwamedha awards only a single winnerwho takes it all including the prize money ofRs. 1,50,000/-. Ashwamedha is the trueembodiment of the spirit of competition,where the participants co-operate to advanceand yet have to outwit their adversaries. Entry Fee
Free for current PGP and EPGP studentsRs 500 is the entry fee for working professionals. Professionals will be invited to thecampus on the basis of their performance in the Hurdle- an aptitude online test, andtheir B-Plan for sustainable solution for a given social problem. The Hurdle round willnot be an elimination round for working professionals.
Winner takes home Rs 1,50,000 and the trophy
