    The Naval Academy Garden Club will tour Dumbarton Oaks Gardens in Washington, DC on April 15 .

    Begun in 1920, Dumbarton Oaks was established during a 30 year collaboration between owner Mildred Bliss and landscape gardener Beatrix Farrand. After a docent-led tour of the houses music room and gardens, club members will have lunch at a nearby restaurant. Individuals with an interest in gardening and with some connection to the Naval Academy or one of the military services are most welcome to attend and join the club.
