Hi there,There are a lot of tips and advice out there would you agree? well this is some freeadvice which I hope you find useful in your Guitar adventure lets begin.........I know how frustrating it can be when you're learning to play the guitar the best advice Ican give is to stick to an easy guitar lesson there are plenty of free easy guitar lessonsonline today.So why do you want to play?what are your motivations?If you keep these reasons alive and right them down get a book and put some picturesin there and guitar goals then this will help you when the going gets tough and it will!!unless your the next Jimi Hendrix and I'm sure even he struggled at times.well to start you need a Guitar which one do you have ?maybe you don't have one yet don't rush into buying one.Decide if you are going to playan acoustic guitar or an electric guitar It depends on the style you play If you don't haveone then I would suggest taking time to find one that your comfortable with.Used guitarsare great as well, so check your local second hand shops and used dealers justbecause the guitar is expensive does not mean it is a good guitar.These are very well-known high quality brands Fender, Taylor, Martin, Ibanez, B.C.Rich, Epiphone, Kramer.So do you play with your left hand or right or maybe you canplay both hands most guitar are actually for the right hand.Jimi Hendrix played a right-handed guitar altered for left-handed playing and you canplay a right-handed guitar upside down also.Or you could hold out for a left-handedguitar as well.

It may be better to start off learning songs which utilize single notes or power chords. This will help build finger strength, dexterity, and familiarity with theguitar, hopefully with less stress and frustration.

The best way to learn any instrument is to learn to play some songs that you lovelistening to. Learning to play songs that you know and love, is much easier thantrying to learn songs, or worse, exercises from a book that you don't like or aren'tfamiliar with. As well as knowing how the song should sound, you'll can also playalong with the recording which will help you learn to play the song in a shortperiod of time.

Learning to tune your guitar is important an out-of-tune guitar sounds awful. Notonly will it keep you from hearing when you play something right, an out-of-tuneguitar will quickly discourage you
