1841 Pierre-Auguste Renoir was born in Limoges, Haute-Vienne,France.1844 Renoir’s family moved to Paris.1860 Renoir was granted permission to copy the Louvre.1862 Renoir studies art under Charles Gleyrein.1870 Renoir was drafted in the army.1875Renoir goes bankrupt and participates in public auction.1877 Renoir joins impressionists to put himself in a public journal.1878 Renoir exhibits at the salon.1879 Renoir married Aline Charigot.1882Renoir painted a portrait of Richard Wagner.1919 Renoir died on December 3.

Renoir was born in Limoges,France,onFebruary 25,1841. To Leonard a tailor andMarguerite a seamstress. As a boy heworked in a procelain factory. He was thefourth child in his family. He was a verygood child. During the early years, Renoir visited the Louver to study the Frenchmaster painters. Taking photos was very avery recent invention in his day.
