NOTE:-
A ST candidate claiming reservation against PWD (Persons with Disability) category must also produce category certificate i.e. ST alongwith PWD Certificate. An OBC candidate claiming reservation against PWD category must produce OBC certificate issued by the competent authority of GNCT of Delhi only alongwith PWD certificate.

Eligibility Qualifications & Experience for Teaching posts:
Assistant Professor (Other than disciplines of Law, Humanities and Social Sciences and Architecture)
 – Master’s Degree with a first class or a equivalent grade in relevant discipline. For the Candidates not having qualification of M. Tech./MBA, a Doctoral Degree is a must for the post of Assistant Professor. Regarding NET, UGC guidelines shall be followed wherever applicable from time to time.
Required specialization for the teaching posts: 1.
 
Management Studies:
 Managerial Economics, OR/Quant Teaching, IT Specialization, Finance
2.
 
Computer Science & Engg./ Information Technology:
Operating System, Front End Design Tool, Distributed data base, Artificial Intelligence,  Multimedia, Compiler Design, Theoretical Computer Science, Data Warehousing, Embedded Systems, Image Processing, Soft Computing, Software Engg..

Eligibility Qualifications & Experience for Asstt. Engineer (Civil) on Deputation basis :-
Officer holding analogous posts in Government Departments or Autonomous Bodies with qualification of B.E./B.Tech. in Civil/Electrical with 50% marks from any recognized University and with six years experience in the grade as Jr. Engineer with GP of Rs.4200/-
Period of deputation:
 The initial period of deputation shall be two years, which may be extended with mutual consent.
Age limit:
 Preferably below 50 years
Note:
 Age not exceeding 56 years in any case on deputation basis.
NOTE:
(i)
 
Prescribed application form alongwith relevant details regarding educational qualification, experience and specialization required for various teaching/non-teaching posts advertised can be downloaded from the University’s website

The applicant should use the application form prescribed separately for teaching and non-teaching posts.
(ii)
 
Relaxation in age and in % of marks shall be allowed for OBC/ ST /PWD category candidates as per Govt. rules. (iii)
 
The University reserve the right to shortlist the candidates by determining any criteria for Interview.
(iv)
 
01 post of AE (Civil) is proposed to be filled up on Deputation basis against the sanctioned vacant post of Dy. Registrar. However, the person on deputation will draw the pay scale attached to the post of AE (Civil) as per the Advertisement i.e. the salary in PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100 with GP of Rs.5400/-. The period of deputation of the AE(Civil) proposed against the said post will be as per the Recruitment Rules or till the incumbent to the post of Dy. Registrar is recruited / promoted, whichever is earlier.

Applications on deputation basis should be forwarded through proper channel alongwith vigilance clearance from the parent Deptt. of the applicant.
 
(vi)
 
Reservation for posts at Asstt. Professor level shall be as per Govt. of NCT of Delhi policies

Abbreviations used are denoted as under: PWD- Persons with Disabilities, OA–One Arm, OL–One Leg, BL-Both Leg, B- Blind, LV- Low Vision. (viii)
 
Abbreviations used for Schools/ Deptts. are as under: USICT- University School of Information & Communication Technology and USMS- University School of Management Studies. (ix)
 
Application must be sent in the prescribed format only. The candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application form for each post. (x)
 
The Educational qualification, age, experience and other conditions of eligibility as stipulated above against the post shall be determined as on the closing date of receipt of applications. (xi)
 
All columns must be filled in the application form. No column should be left blank, instead it should be marked “N.A.” wherever not applicable. (xii)
 
The persons already in employment in Govt. Department/Autonomous Bodies/ Universities under Central /State Government should apply through proper channel. (xiii)
 
Employment of the University shall be governed by the rules and regulations, service conditions, as may be notified by the University from time to time. (xiv)
 
No enquiry personal or in writing for recruitment shall be entertained. (xv)
