A Trip, A Tent, And A Wedding
THE STORY OF A BUSY SUMMER

HE SUMMER IS GONE
- and we hardly know what happened to it!J

flew by with a special teen work week at our home church, tent meetings with our fellowship of churches, and our
annual yard sale thrown in for goodmeasure! As you might suppose, we werea bit worn out.J

we spent in NewHampshire, visiting with family andspeaking at churches. We were so excitedto see the Lord provide meetings for fourout of the five Sundays we had available.L
IVING IN A TENT
for three weeks was abit crazy - but we enjoyed the chance itgave us to spend time with Michael’sparents. The other half of our time we were able to use part of the attic in theirgarage! Praise the Lord for His Provisionof a

we had the pleasure of being a part of Michael’s sister Rochelle’s wedding. We were so happy to see SethCallahan become a part of our family!P

that the kids travel very well! We were able to take a few days andenjoy some family vacation time duringour travels.

O WHAT IS IN STORE
for the Dorefamily? We continue to contactchurches, small groups andindividuals as we look for people whodesire to partner with us in prayer,finances, and encouragement. P

that God would open doors for us toshare and that we would be able tominister in each church we visit. Welove sharing with them what the Lordis doing in West Africa, and it isalways an encouragement tofellowship with believers - even oneswe meet for the first time. If youknow of anyone who would beinterested in partnering with us (or just learning more about missions), letus know or pass our information on tothem!

with us that the Lord wouldcontinue to increase our financialsupport so that next August we will beable to head to Quebec for ourFrench study. In the meantime bothMichael and Nancy are trying to gothrough the Rosetta Stone Frenchcomputer program. Even though thisis not the same as living somewherethat people speak French, it is a goodprogram and we hope it gives us ahead-start for next fall.

, next June we will bewelcoming a new member to ourfamily! Pray that Nancy and the babywould be healthy!

RIBES
is looking at missions in West Africa a little differently these days.Before, each country was considered a‘field’, with its own leadership and supportteam. This is a good approach which workswell around the world. However, onedownfall of this approach is that tribalgroups (especially in Africa) do not careabout country borders! NTM is moving towards viewing West Africa as a oneregion, instead of many different fields.This will allow us to target unreachedpeople groups more effectively; reducing the possibility of duplicated efforts, as wellas keeping a work active even when onecountry shuts down due tounrest. We will also be ableto better partner with the West African church.

HAT
does this mean forus? Even though we are stillplanning to head to Guinea,we may end up in another West African country!Instead of saying we are En-route to Guinea, we will talk about West Africa. We are very excited about thesechanges and we are eager to see how thesenew strategies will work out.
