REGISTRATION.
1. The law contemplates
the
registration
of
electors
as
beingmainly
attended
to in
the
different
wardsand
precincts
previous to
the
electIon day,
and
as
being completed
and
ended
at
len.st fift.een

the

But
it
also provides
that
the
Assistant
Registrar
foreach
ward
a.nd
precinct shall bepresent
at
hisvoting
place on election day: to
register
such voters
as
may
have pre\7iously failcu
to
register;
and
to
persons registered
on
election
day, he
is
to give a certificate
as
follows:

not

than
