stainless steel lid, on top o the SlowCooker when assembled, when in useand when stored. Always turn the Temperature Control
Dial to the ‘OFF’ position and unplugthe power cord rom the power outlet,remove the connector end o the powercord rom the appliance and allow theappliance to cool, i appliance is not inuse, beore cleaning, beore attemptingto move the appliance, disassembling,assembling and when storing theappliance.Keep the Slow Cooker clean. Follow
the cleaning instructions provided inthis book.Do not operate any appliance with
a damaged cord or plug or ater theappliance malunctions or has beendamaged in any manner. Retournappliance to the nearest authorizedservice acility or examination, repairor adjustment.

ood storage.Do not use the removable EasySear™
Insert in a microwave oven.Do not reheat ood using your Slow
Cooker. Always slow cook with the stainless steel
lid on, or the recommended time. Avoid scalding rom escaping steam
when removing the stainless steel lidrom the removable EasySear™ Insertwhen hot by careully liting the lid angledaway rom yoursel.Do not allow water rom the lid to drip
into the stainless steel housing, only intothe removable EasySear™ Insert.Do not attempt to operate the Slow
Cooker by any method other than thosedescribed in this book. Always ensure the Slow Cooker is
properly assembled beore operating.Follow the instructions provided in thisbook.Do not let the cord hang over edge o the
table or counter, or touch hot suraces.

Remove and saely discard any packing.
Careully read all instructions beoreoperating the Slow Cooker or the rsttime and save or uture reerence. To eliminate a choking hazard or young
children, remove and saely discard theprotective cover tted to the power plugo this appliance. To prevent against electrical shock, do
not immerse appliance, cord or powerplug in water or any other liquid. Always insert the connector end o the
power cord into appliance inlet beoreinserting power plug into power outletand switching on appliance. Ensure theappliance inlet is completely dry beoreinserting the connector end o the powercord.Do not place the Slow Cooker near
the edge o a bench or table duringoperation. Ensure the surace is level,clean and ree o water and othersubstances.Do not operate the Slow Cooker on a
sink drain board.Do not place this appliance on or near
a hot gas or electric burner, or where itcould touch a heated oven. Position theSlow Cooker at a minimum distance o 8in (20cm) away rom walls and provideadequate space above and all sides orair circulation.Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.Do not touch hot suraces. Use handles
to move Slow Cooker and dry oven mittsto remove the stainless steel lid and/orremovable EasySear™ Insert when hot.Use only the removable EasySear™
Insert and lid supplied. Do not use anyother pan inside the stainless steelhousing.Never plug in or switch on the Slow
Cooker without having the removableEasySear™ Insert placed inside thestainless steel housing.Do not place ood or liquid into the
stainless steel housing. Only theremovable EasySear™ Insert is designedto contain ood or liquid.Never operate the Slow Cooker without
ood and liquid in the removableEasySear™ Insert. Ensure the removableEasySear™ Insert is at least ½ to ¾ ullo ood and/or liquid beore switching onthe appliance.Do not use a damaged removable
EasySear™ Insert. Replace beore using.Extreme caution must be used when the
appliance contains hot ood and liquids.Do not move the appliance duringcooking.Do not place the removable EasySear™
Insert when hot on any surace that maybe aected by heat.
