Do you find yourself working evenings and weekends and missing out on having a lifeaway from the office?
You were hoping to enjoy an early evening at home and a client calls wanting you to work them in. You stay late at the office to return calls and catch up on your never ending to dolist. Maybe you’d like to be able to help more people but you’re feeling so drained anddepleted it’s not possible.

You’re feeling the pressure of bills that are due. Client X is a whiner and complainer. You dread seeing him on the schedule. Nothing you do seems to help and yet he keepscoming back. Do you have the luxury of turning away business just because he’s not anideal client?
You love helping people.
That’s why you do what you do. You know the joy of helpingsomeone feel better. You are thrilled when a client has a breakthrough that positivelyimpacts his life. That’s why you endured the rigors of professional training. That’s whyyou sweated your way through the licensing or certification process. That’s why youinvest in your continuing education.Whether you’re new to your business or have hung your shingle out for awhile, runningyour business is hard work. Wouldn’t it be nice if it could be easier? What if you truly enjoyed working with all of your clients? What if you worked the hoursyou really wanted to and had a steady stream of ideal clients? Wishful thinking? Not atall. It really is possible.
Have you given much thought to what it would be like to have a thriving businessfilled with clients you enjoy?
As an entrepreneur, you’ve given up the stability that a“regular” job offers - a predictable paycheck, paid vacation, benefits, etc. You’re gratefulto be making ends meet. You work with clients who want the services you have to offer. They schedule appointments, hopefully show up, pay your fee, and maybe even book another appointment. If you’re lucky they’re someone you enjoy working with. If not, ohwell, at least the bills get paid.
