Note:
During 2007, Eudora will become an open sourceemail application and will be built upon the sameoundation as Mozilla’s Thunderbird. The interace,however, is expected to remain similar to what it is now.For example, additional email accounts in Eudora areknown as “Personalities.”
Setting Up an IMAP Email Account
1. SelectWindow / Personalities.
2. ClickNew. This will deliver an “untitled” personalitybearing a personality icon.3. In theNamebox, enter a name or the personality andpressReturnorEnterto continue.
4. Make sure that thePersonality Nameis still selected,and clickEdit.5. In the dialog or your new Personality, enter theollowing underChecking Mail:• User Name—Enter your entire email address (e.g.,
myname@mydomain.com
),.• Mail Server—Enter
imap.emailsrvr.com.
• Check mail every—Enter how long you want Eudorato check or new messages. The deault setting is 10minutes.
