Setting Up an IMAP Email Account
1. SelectSetup / Mail Accounts.
2. To add a new account, click the plus (+) button, locatedin the upper let corner o theMail Accountswindow.3. Click theIdentitytab to begin the setup process.4. Enter the ollowing inormation:• Description—Use a phrase that will help you identiythis account, such as Home, Work and so orth.• Email Address—Enter your entire email address(e.g.,
myname@mydomain.com
), using alllowercase letters.• Real Name—Enter your frst and last name. Thisis the name that will appear in theFromfeld omessages you send, ahead o your email address.
Note:
I you clickAdvanced, you will be able to add suchelements as a Reply-To address and the name o yourcompany or organization.5. Click theReceivingtab to proceed to the next window.6. Enter the ollowing inormation:• Protocol—Choose IMAP rom the pop-up menu.• User account ID—Enter your entire email address(e.g.,
myname@mydomain.com
), using alllowercase letters.• Incoming mail server—Enter the IMAP server name:
