The center is accessible by Yellow/Green Line Metro Line: DC Convention Stop
Major bus lines on 7th Street NW- 70,71, 79 (Metro Extra)
Limited 1 to 2 hour on street metered and residential parking in area
Buses and vans should unload at L Street entrance between 7th and 9th Street. Shuttle bus transportation starting at 9 will be offered from the following Safeway grocery stores parking lots Hechington Mall, Minnesota & Benning Road and Naylor Road.
Feast attendees will enjoy a free traditional turkey meal with all of the trimmings served by hundreds of cheerful volunteers. Residents can participate in an “independence expo featuring community and government service organizations, giveways, bingo, health screenings including free flu vaccinations as well as employment and training opportunities.
