Description

The name Jesus comes from Greek for ‘Joshua’ which means ‘God is salvation’. The name ‘Jesus’ was well explained in Matthew’s Gospel: “And she (Mary) will bear a son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 The best description of him is in Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Therefore, like the early believers we must all believe and be baptized. Some scholars have located over 700 titles for Jesus in the scriptures. Here are a few of them here. Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45)
Advocate (1 John 2:1)
All (Col. 3:11)
Alpha and Omega (Rev. 1:8)
Anointed One (Actsw 4:26, Ps. 2:2)

In the Lod Testament men were baptized unto Moses and in the New, Christ. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Gal. 3:27 And never in the word into triads.
