For my research assignment I chose the company Westpac. This company islarge banking company based around Australasian location. The businessWestpac is a Banking facility which involves of leading, investing and managingof the client’s money. The sector of industry is Tertiary – banking to the public. And has approximately27,000 employees in Australia.
Technology
The technology consists of advanced branched computers, massive phonenetwork, online help and banking and highly sophisticated security such asalarms of all types, CCTV cameras and huge vaults.
Types of employments
They have a combination of part time, full time, casual and permanentemployees. All these different types of employment depend on the employeeand how much time they can fit in the job at Westpac. Some employees workunder AWA’s while some others work under contracts FCU.

They have supported surf life saving in Australia and the Westpac Life SaverRescue Helicopter Service for more than 3 decades. It began in Sydney in 1973with the sponsorship of the nation's first civilian rescue helicopter service andnow extends nationally to save lives across the country.
