Choosing hospice care and the right hospice to serve you is apersonal decision. If contemplating hospice care, you or your lovedone must have been diagnosed by a physician with a "terminalillness”. No one is ever prepared for such a pronouncement.To be "certified” for hospice care, the doctor must state thatstatistically, the illness may cause death within six months or less.Some patients live longer than six months, some for years. The bottom line when faced with aterminal illness is to live life as fully as possible for every day and every hour is precious.
