Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument Potsdam 5/02/2014 0930

The defendant was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a forged New York State Driver License after Patrols responded to the Stewarts Shop on Maple Street for several males being disorderly.

Patrol initiated a traffic stop on Maple Street and issued a verbal warning for a headlight equipment violation. Patrols responded to Washington Street and issued a verbal warning for a noise violation. Patrols responded to the Stewarts Shop on Maple Street for several males being disorderly. All three Clarkson University students were arrested and transported to the police station where they were processed, two for Attempted Petit Larceny and one for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, and released to reappear in Potsdam Village Court on 05/02/2014. Patrols received a complaint of loud and disorderly pedestrians on Market Street. Patrol responded to the report of a disorderly male outside an apartment on Market Street. The male was counseled and released. A handicapped parking permit was issued to a Town of Potsdam resident. Patrol completed a traffic stop on Main Street. A verbal warning was issued. Potsdam Rescue and Patrols dispatched to Lawrence Avenue for an elderly female who has fallen, unable to gain entry into the apartment. Potsdam Rescue and Patrols dispatched to Bagdad Field for 2 injuries; male with shoulder injury and a female victim of a dog bite Patrols received a report of an erratic driver on Market Street.
