1. When did you first begin to write? What did you write about?

“Well, I wish I could give you a specific date- I would sound more professional that way.(laughs) But, I have none. I began to show a faint interest in writing around the age of eight or nine. It all began with watching the normal kid cartoons and anime shows. At theend of every episode, there would be a trailer for the next, and I always wondered if Icould write the next episode of a show my way and see how it would come out. That’show I got my start.”-

2. What is your favorite genre to write?

“I don’t really have a favorite genre or style of writing, to be honest. I love to keep mymind open to writing in all instances to improve my skills.”-

3. Do you listen to music when you write?

“Oh, absolutely. Well, when I have my iPod available, that is! I believe that specifictypes of music can influence how you write drastically. For example, when you listen tomusic filled with loud tones and tons of figurative language, you are probably going tomake a more daring and exciting fanfiction. But when you listen to more classical musicwithout lyrics and pop-culture instrumentals, you will probably write a moresophisticated fanfiction. All in all, I think music is a great deal helpful for inspiration.Especially when writing.”-

4. When were you first introduced to the world of fanfiction?

“It all began a while back when I was a die-hard ‘Inuyasha’ fan. With my horribly slowdial-up connection, I would impatiently search the web for ‘Inuyasha’ websites andstories. Eventually I came across multiple websites that had links to fanfictions on'fanfiction (dot) net.' At first, I hated the layout of the website- I found it too cluttered andthere were too many stories to choose from. Butafter finding myself going on there moreand more to read good fanfictions, I soon fell in love with it.”-

5. And so you then created an account?

“Yep. Only a few weeks after discovering 'fanfiction (dot) net', I went and made myself an account under the penname ‘DrTsukikoSohma’ on April 12
