I would like to thank everyone that have contributed to the success of the Miss CamelliaCity Pageant. As we celebrate the 1st year, I look to the future with great hope and ex-citement. Pageantry is a positive and rewarding hobby that can lead to great things! Ithelps the contestant develop their individuality at the same time, learn the secretes towinning the crown. As a former contestant, the skills that I have learned through the artof competition has been a tremendous influence for my career as a pageant director. Titles that I havewon over the years were Mrs. Gretna 1993, Mrs.Kenner 1994, Mrs. Jefferson Parish 1995, Mrs. Or-leans Parish 1996, The journey to the CROWN hasbeen filled with many positive points and the friend-ships have been the most rewarding thing that I takeaway from the field of Pageantry.My staff is the best in the state and have been withme since the beginning. Peggy Labit, my auditor andassistant , My sound people Glitter N Gold, GregLivaudais Photography , Thank you Sammy Steele,Chantel & Heather Autin for their continued support.A special THANK YOU to Brian Apple white & ChrisCerullo for their professionalism for the past Tenyears. To the staff of the Slidell Little Theatre, thankyou for allowing me to host The Miss Camellia CityPageant at your beautiful Theatre.In 1992 I began my Journey To The Crown as a con-testant in the Mrs. Louisiana America Pageant and met the woman that became my men-tor and spiritual inspiration. Mary West, was the reigning Mrs. La and was giving up her title. She became the state director for both Miss New Orleans and Mrs. La America Pag-eants. Our friendship continues to strengthen and has blessed my life in so many ways!A Huge THANK YOU to this year’s distinguished panel of judges for both the day &night events and to this year’s sponsors,Thank you to my assistant’s Christiania Black & Tracy Lynn Dillon.In closing, I would like to say thanks to my Husband Sean that has stood by me andsupports all my endeavors and allows me to DREAM! I love you and thanks for being mybest friend.To My son, Robert, You continue to amaze me with your genuine heart and I am soblessed to be your mom. Thanks for sharing these special moments with me.To the Contestants and parents of the children contestants, Thanks a million for allow-ing these folks the opportunity to peruse the CROWN from the Miss Camellia City Run-way.
