THE BUMBLING HERO
Not everyone wants to play the tough guy. Some prefer toplay the comic relief. The Bumbling hero is heroic withouttrying to be. Their power is not in their successes but intheir failures, or to be more exact, the luck to turn failureinto success without trying. He uses his reflexes to hisbest advantage, causing those that attack him to harmeach other or themselves. Unlike the other classes, theBumbling hero does not have to excel in any area to comeout on top.A Bumbling hero might be a bit naive, and sees thebest in others and the world around them. He is often thebest friend of the hero, providing the comedy relief. Hemay be annoying and underestimated, but when things fallapart, his unwitting luck will pull him through. Though heisn't the most powerful there is, he does his best, andstands behind his friends to the end.
Examples of Bumbling Heroes
The comedy relief, sidekick, a regular Joe thrust into asituation that he just is not prepared for, the everydayperson with no exception abilities. The Bumbling herorelies on chance and positive thinking rather than anyspecific ability. This is perfect for the roleplayer with animagination and a sense of humor who wants to playsomething a little different that the usual.
